The King's Players to Perform
in Allegany County

An Allegany County college student will be among the cast on Friday, October 6, when The King's Players from Liberty University performs a free, public Christian drama in Alfred.

Rachel Beiler of Wellsville, part of the touring repertory theatre company that focuses on Christian drama and ministry, will be part of the 8:30 p.m. “Which Way?” performance at the Orvis Activities Center at Alfred State College.

This oldest ministry of Liberty University has appeared in over 5,000 churches, bringing an average of 200 people a year to know the Lord as their personal Savior.

It was organized and began touring in 1960 before becoming part of Liberty in 1973.

The group's ministry outreach includes four different performances that it provides nationwide.  More than 4,000 Marine Corps troops at Parris Island, S.C., one of the nation's most demanding military training camps, saw The King's Players during six performances, with over 400 men and women responding by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior. The soldiers subsequently enrolled in a 10-week discipleship course, ministry leaders relate.

The group also is scheduled to appear at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service on October 8 at Wellsville Bible Church, 2908 Andover Road, Route 417.
